Unnatural Habitat

In ‘Unnatural Habitat’ we find ourselves in the realm of the ‘other place’ – The unknown and the uncertain. There are clear references to the unsettling fictional landscape as well as alluding to the notion of the sublime. The phenomenological sublime as perceived in nature is suggested through pouring and material coagulations of oil paint, whilst infinite black grounds suggest disparate natural worlds which are hinged between memory and fictional landscape.
