The light boxes are illuminated back-lit images on perspex, which fuse painting with the chromatic value of light. These led light box works are digital reproductions of original paintings, encased in hand crafted light boxes. The circular tondo format are contemporary works which explore the porthole perspective of viewing. These light works become virtual illuminated worlds which function as photographic counterparts to the paintings, referencing the virtual screen of painting and reproduction.
